Horse massage has gained a lot of popularity over the past 40 years, but the practice itself dates back to around 1000 B.C. during times of ancient Greece.
As
horse related sports became more popular in the 70's and 80's, horse care also advanced. Within the past 20 years, the horse industry has widely adopted a holistic approach to horse care which includes horse massage.

So, what can massage do for your horse? In addition to making your horse feel like a million bucks, massage can promote healing, reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, improve mobility and increase range of motion, and also reduce the chance of injury.

Sessions run between 50-75 minutes depending on presenting issues. I will begin with a quick 1 minute, hands-on, evaluation and then will start the massage sequence. The massage is comprehensive. I work from poll to tail, addressing knots, tension, and soreness. Once the massage is over, I'll walk your horse for 5 minutes. This will help with circulation and reduce any after massage stiffness caused by the release of metabolic wastes.

$75 - Full body massage

$100 - Full body massage + 2 treated areas with LLLT.
